Yes he did say that, but then his wife had a child right? Not making excuses for him, but that MIGHT be one factor of the delay. :-]

Mr Beef: Did he mean the soundtrack to "Rabbit Proof Fence?" I was homeless at the time and so I was out of the loop of most of the PR blitz of the time.

Rraven, I think RPF came out quite a few months ahead of Up. . . he was definitely referring to IO. . . I'll see if I can find the evidence. . . You MIGHT be right! But, I just don't understand how he can have an album in the bag. . . and then nothing. . . I mean, it's obviously all up to PG and I should have learnt to take it all with a big pinch of salt. . . anybody know the last time PG actually referred to I/O? I reckon he decided he didn't like it or got bored with it. . . or maybe he's just waiting for it to be "complete". . . PG why not give Rolf Harris a call - I'm sure he's wobble board would sort it out. . . :-]

Sorry, Soul Reader, in my haste I meant to address the second paragraph to you!

Mr. Beef: I really think PG likes to play with people's heads.

yeah put rolf harris in it!!! :-] saw him this year at WOMAD. Was second row of people from the front. EPIC! :-] thats all there is to be said! but you can complain about I/O but its the same thing with alot of artists. For example, David Bowie (yes i will refer to him again :-] sorry) Recorded an album called Toy. It was ready for release and everything even down to the artwork supposedly. It even had a release date in 2001. Then got pushed back and back until poof it vanished of the schedule release! Im still waiting for Toy after 9 years and with the few tracks leaked on to the internet (in poor quality i might add)!!! So its the same story for a lot of artists not only peter

I would love to hear him cover one of Aimee Mann's songs. There are so many good ones to choose from, but I think the lyrics of 'Invisible Ink' would really suit his own style.

I guess he wouldn't consider covering a post-Gabriel Genesis song. How weird would that be?
Synnie 23 September 2010 at 5:13pm Posts: 4169 (0 today) Status: offline
several songs from dirk Michaelis, and why not kinder too?I am surehe would stand up for those. :-]

Many Dave Matthews Songs would work: Cry Freedom, Proudest Monkey, Dancing Nancies, and The Stone to name a few.

Have to ask - is there a story behind that avatar, Someone? And if that's you, have you recovered?
