"Plus, who knows, there may even be a second leg for the recording sessions where further material is recorded along with additional stuff for the present tracks." Knowing PG, there are probably several more recording sessions, re-mixing, overdubbing and general fiddling about until this album sees the light of day.

Considerng past experience I wouldn't expect all of those recorded to make the album so let's not get our hopes up, probably only a dozen will make it. Tino

It would make a great "deluxe edition" DVD for the SMB shows on 2 DVDs with an added CD of other PG songs getting the orchestral treatment. To the suggestions added above, I think that "Lay Your Hands on Me." would make a very interesting song to do for an orchestral arrangement - to get that Failrlight mircotuned percussion groove happening across the string and percussion section. Whatever form it takes. . . it's going to be sweet.

My assumption is that they must have recorded 2 or 3 other songs the same day they recorded Sledgehammer. Don't Give Up Washing of The Water Digging in The Dirt San Jacinto Mercy Street Signal To Noise Most likely he might be scheduling a second set of recording sessions, or maybe they are just off on weekends or taking a week break. Possibly even the session players have other occupations to attend, or perhaps Peter maybe be busy with humanitarian responsibilities such as the WOMAD festival, etc. Not for certain on anything, but I don't think Peter would abandon the last remaining tracks.

This gotta be a septuple album with all his song-based discs re-recorded with the orchestra. :-]
