I have just listened to the latest edition of radio program here in Sydney Australia on 2MBS-FM called Ultima Thule. Program consisted of a cross section of 'classic' Genesis tracks intermixed with PG's album 'Scratch My Back'. Great sounding album both musically and sonically (engineering/production wise). What are the chance of this album being released on SACD??? I have PG's other albums on SACD (and of course the early Genesis albums as well) and they come up very well on the format. Listening to 'SMB' on just FM wets the aural appetite of what it might sound on SACD. How about it can we tempt the powers that be (maybe PG himself) to ok the SACD release!

I would highly doubt this will happen because the SACD format seems to be supported only by a few specialty record labels. For the most part, mainstream releases are no longer being offered in SACD.
