Hello Just noticed that Cy Twombly has died. His scribbly/calligraphic paintings always fascinated me. He was a crytographer in WWII which explains a little I think. Hope he is somewhere peaceful now, pencil at the ready. A fresh pot of coffee brewed but longing for a piece of chocolate. Hello, chocolate, coffee, wonderful music (G. Oyrema) and some nice croissants. . . Just the right things for this morning! Thanks a lot I did not know Cy Twombly before, Duddy. His art is interesting, especially if you have his life experiences in mind. The combination of text and images is exciting, particularly his interest in classical mythology as I read in the article.
