Here's a podcast from Adam Buxton (of the wonderful Adam & Joe comedy / broadcasting duo) taking SMB to the next level - the whole podcast is well worth hearing, but in particular PG fans should definitely hear the last 5-6 minutes -

Good one Mr Beef. The end section made me laugh. A little bit of mickey-taking, but done with affection, I think.

. . .glad you both liked it! - I think it's hilarious, but then I'm a big fan of A&J, along with PG. A&J are professional mickey-takers, but as you say - it's always done with a effection and is almost certainly a disguised complement.
Anyone else wanting to hear it has probably only got another day or two - these links change every week -

Thanks Mr Beef. Just wiping away a hysterical tear after listening to 'Walking on Sunshine' in the style of PG. The image of Melons and caulies will be forever stuck in my head now! Yes a lot of affectionate fun-poking throughout I think. Not everyone can do it.

I've just listened, love Adam Buxton, but not sure if I've got the right podcast. I've listened, and enjoyed, music for toddlers.

Oh, you must have missed it Tree Mouse - these pesky BBC podcasts are only available for a week before they disappear forever. the BBC should just relax a bit! PM me if you like, and I'll send you the SMB bit - the whole thing is too big to email.
