It's the catalogue number that can be read on each PG album in CD.

Ah, found it! On the standard version PGCD12 is not on the spine, but in the text by the barcode.
This is REALLY geeky, but I've always liked looking at the PGCD numbers sequentially in my CD cabinet!

Yes it's true. Didn't realize it before, but now that you say it. Why NOT on the spine? I also like looking at the PGCD numbers in my cabinet.

But it has the coloured Realworld squares on the spine again. Throws me back to Us and SWL. The whole special edition reminds me of SWL anyway. A second CD with only 4 tracks on it and stuff. Also the trippy pictures. . .
