If I could cover any one song, what would it be?
"Don't Break This Rhythm".
Like many tweens in the eighties, "Sledgehammer" was my introduction to Peter Gabriel. But the single's b side really hooked me; introducing me into a level of music way beyond anything I had ever heard before. I guess you could say it launched my love affair with music.
So, sentimentally, I'd have to say "Don't Break This Rhythm". It's already got all the tribal and world influence of your epic PG song; so throwing an orchestra on it is the obvious next step.
