I would be very pleased if a SACD version come too ! But 24bit download is not a bad idea, though not as goos as SACD.

Regarding:
"Bought my special edition in Canada today - no 24 bit download code.

"
Me too.
The odd thing is the store had an advertisement for the release in the local newspaper which highlighted the free 24-bit download.
Has the Canadian manufacturer screwed up and forgotten to include the coupon?

My local paper had an ad as well.
Not sure what to do.
How do we find out about this?

Nine - just curious, are you in Ottawa as well? (It was the Ottawa Citizen that had a CD Warehouse ad that I saw with the note about the free 24 bit download).
I did call the retailer and ask about this, but the staff on hand weren't aware of the free download and suggested I call back during the week.

I'm new to the forum. I have a few questions. To ask my questions, however, I must first give some info. I live in Colorado (United States). I just pre-ordered the Scratch My Back digital download via the link here on petergabriel.com. It appears that my purchase was processed properly via PayPal. The digital download process downloaded both an Apples Lossless file AND an MP3 file of the track "The Book Of Love". From this thread, I get the impression that the rest of the album tracks will be available to download on March 2 because I live in the US. But . how will I download them on March 2? Will I be sent an email that has a link? Or do I have to log-in to petergabriel.com to get the rest of the album? If it's not either of these 2 options, then what? Last question . what is the reasoning for giving me both an Apple Lossless file AND an MP3 file? One Apple Lossless file is good enough for me . why would I need an extra file of the same song?

wolfka, did you purchase Scratch My Back or New Blood?
Either way, please follow out this discussion:
http://petergabriel.com/social/forum/20/album/topic/457004/where-is-the-hi-q-download-code/?filter_page=1&filter_sort_field=creation_time&filter_sort_field_type=num&filter_sort_direction=asc
In a nutshell, the European pressings do have the code while the rest of the world pressings (e.g. North America) do not include the code.
Anyways, the download offer will expire on October 10 2012 (10/10/2012). This is stated on the code voucher that gets supplied with the European Special Edition CD of New Blood. The code voucher that is included with the Scratch My Back Special Edition CD does not state an expiration date. I would suspect though that that offer is limited as well, and it might just have expired as we speak.
Hope this sheds some light onto the topic.

Can anybody tell me what format the Apple Lossless Version of "New Blood" available on the Site is? I would like to get hold of a Hi-Band version to cut to a DVD-Audio.
