Very disappointed that there isn't a date in the new Liverpool echo Arena, Peter did say during his last visit to the city (Still Growing Up 2004)that it was to long since his last show there which was 10yrs before and that he promised he wouldn't leave it so long next time. Judging by the tour dates for 2013 it looks like that Liverpool will miss out and it will be at least 10yrs again!! before Peter preforms in this city of music again. I would urge Peters tour managers and promoters to find some way of adding this city of music to the 2013 tour, the people of Liverpool are aching to see the genius that is Peter Gabriel in the city again we don't want to have to travel up the East Lancs Road to see him. We have the venue, we have the audience, all we need now is the main event, Mr Peter Gabriel!!!

It's not that far to Manchester from you. I don't think it makes sense for him to do both of these venues unless he doing a much bigger tour.
If you don't like the east lancs, just use the M62 instead.

Agreed.
Birmingham is my closest city venue but PG not playing there - so I'm trooping up to Manc land - will be putting in my expenses claim, I'm sure PG will cover it.........................................not
