the acoustic section didnt really do it for me,thought there might at least have been Peter getting some crowd participation going for the end bit of shock the monkey, which is normally the case.

I like the slowed down NSC personally and the 'idea' of the acoustic set. Ideal for airing something rarer like Indigo. I would like to see a simple song, given a new arrangement, rather than the more obvious "stripped back". That would be great. Perhaps the acoustic bit should be in the middle of the set? That would increase the impact of Red Rain and the rest of So. Generally I'd like a few different songs in there to freshen it up. Eg. Digging in the Dirt is a great groove but feels a bit tired as a song sometimes. Perhaps I Don't Remember or Lovetown?

As long he doesn't stopp doing "The Family and the Fishing Net" I will be happy. It's my favorite-song and I have never heard it live. Back in 87 he altered between that one or Intruder, and we got Intruder in Gothenburg, Sweden. I guess it's the last chans for that song to be playes live. I am quiet satisfied if he keeps the setlist like it was with possible minor changes, in the acoustic set maybe? I liked the idea someone mentioned that the acoustic set should be in the middle. That gives him a chance to do a more dramatic start with for example Intruder Maybe start like he did many years ago and starting to walk from the ordiance with the other members on stage and the drumming. Other songs that would be interesting is "I have the Touch" in the style he did it on "Plays Live" and "I go Swimming"? I really love the SO-album but my two favorites are 3+4 and I am very happy if he plays some songs from those albums in Europe. For me, he could skip Biko as an extra. Maybe some more obscure classic instead. For example: "On the Air", "Moribund the Burgemeister" "White Shadow" or if he really wants to megasurprise maybe something from the Lamb, rearranged to fit in. For example, "The Lamia", "Chamber of 32 Doors" or maybe the titletrack ... One could wish

I like the idea of having the acoustic set as Part II instead of Part I, but I think PG's idea was to have the whole show be like a work in progress . . . how it starts out in a rough (acoustic) kind of way, gets more vibrant and the songs progress and Part III is SO album in its entirety the way it was meant to be. As far as songs I'd rather hear, I don't even consider any of the SO songs to be changed -- afterall, it's what the tour is about and I don't think he'd change up from that. For the other songs, I'm not a fan of Digging in the Dirt (too muc air play), and do not care so much for Washing of the Water (I know, I know, nearly everyone loves that song, but it's just "okay" for me,nothing earth shattering happens for me with it). I wouldn't mind having the encore part be more than two songs and have that include songs from after SO -- Us, Up, etc., This is how I would like to hear it: Part I -- Acoustic Set (if he still does it this way) : PGI & II songs (whichever ones he chooses) -- He can include O But in the rough version . . . Part II -- Electric Set -- PG III & IV songs (keeping most of the songs from the tour -- they were really good choices) Part III - SO Encore -- US & UP & Ovo, etc., Last song -- A finished version of O But . . . for all of us to leave the arena with a new song in our heads.

Personally, working my way through the Tour box set, I'm still getting accustomed to the acoustic set; when I heard Family, No Self Control put me right back to my first encounters of listening to "Plays Live" - this was one of the first CD's of PG that got me into his music in about 2004 (I'd probably be classified as a newbie on this front). Anyway, for me, getting to hear Family Snapshot, Fishing Net, No Self Control is definitely for me a great version. Whats missing from the sets was the original So tour version of "Games without Frontiers" and White Shadow ! A double Dessert..

I really enjoyed the accoustic set, especailly "Shock the Monkey." Drop "No Self Control." Some nice visuals and vocals but suffers in comparison to 1987 tour. The Tower that Ate People was a great surprise and hopefully will still be included in the set list.
