Thanks deem914! I enjoyed the article. Sad to hear that the venue was only half full. The day of the week, and prices were certainly a factor. I think he should have considered only 2 shows in CA, one in Southern, and one in Northern, and added one in the Southeast somewhere. Oh well, maybe they should hire me as a tour consultant?

My wife and Idid not care how full the arena was. I have been running into that more and more going PG shows since the Up tour. At one stop, an added date, I decided to go at the last minute and picked up a 5th row floor ticket at the window and hour before the show. I was thrilled at Tuesday's show. I even went to the trouble to schedule a flight up to San Jose for business that day just so my wife and I could spend the evening to see the show. If people did not go, it was their loss not mine. looking forward to two more shows tomorrow at the Hollywood Bowl with my family and again on Tuesday in Santa Barbara. Ela, if you don't mind me asking, are you "Laura" from the old genesis fan website?

Tonight's show at the Bowl will be our 11 year old son's first concert. I'll let you know how it was later. I thought it would be good to get him started with the bar set really high. We did the same with our oldest (now 21) who is going with us tonight also. He has been going to see PG with us since he was a year old at a WOMAD show. I just realized that makes him a 20 year veteran of PG shows. Myself, I am going on 35 years of seeing him perform.
