First off, the sound was great. Peter said they were recording the concert for a future release which was also great news. I'd love a copy.
Now for the negative comments... The video presentation of this show was pathetic. For those people up close who got to see the musicians faces, they also got the benefit of seeing the distorted, color faded and special effected mish-mash filling the screens throughout the remainder of the concert.
For the people not sitting close, there was only a brief time at the very beginning of the show when you could see Peter's undistorted, un-color-faded, un-special-effected face full screen. When you go to an Arena show and are sitting in the back, you expect the video screen to show you quality images of different perfomers. This did not happen, at all. Shame on you Peter (and crew).
It's one thing to do these visual effects for certan songs, but to do it for 80 out of 90 minutes is really a poor decision. I hope someone is listening.
Oh, one last comment... of the 13,000 seats in San Jose, about 8,000 were filled. Why so few? Ticket Prices. If the prices were a bit more consumer friendly the place would have sold out. Lesson learned or not?
I'm done.
