Thanks for the inside scoop Drem914. It was noticeable to me, since the 2 other shows I saw were with them dancing around the stage with the portable keyboards.

Thanks for the info regarding that. It's interesting to me because I absolutely loved when they did the song with dancing ... Just like they used to do it. I guess pg knows best but I still prefer the more interactive song

I saw it both ways in San Jose and Hollywood Bowl and the new format in Santa Barbara. I liked the "fun" format as well as the harder edge in the later. Personally, it was just plain fun fun to be able to see him again, to see he is willing to try different arrangements even in the middle of a tour. Certainly, one of the more enjoyable aspects of going to the sound checks.

Loved the way they did Excellent Birds at the Chicago show, and what I've seen, was the best night for doing that, that way. If ya know what I mean...

Zen -- did they do it with standing in place at their instruments or dancing?

We saw the show at the Patriot Center. 4th time for my wife and I. As usual, excellent performance. And I love the dancing as well! He did, I think, a new song in the encore.
