Hi Lunies, I know that many of us are getting super excited about the shows and many more of us will be anxious to read reviews, stories of the shows. As we've always tried to do in the past, I'd like to request that if you're going to tell a story/write a review of your show, please place "Spoiler" or "Spoiler Alert" in the topic -- so that for those of us who do not want to read any spoilers will know not to read it until later. Getting really excited about the shows and will definitely be checking in here. Hope everyone has a great time and a great show! Kind regards,

Hi Pat, Long time PG fan but still knew Fan Club member (not sure I qualify as a Loonie yet!)...just been here since the New Blood tour.... and so I ask..... what qualifies as a spoiler? I even want to hear what the sound check emails say, I want to hear it all, but wouldn't want to ruin another person's surprise.

Hi Beaker, FIrst things first -- you're a lunatic as soon as you listen to a PG song, take one single step on the moon here, so you most definitely qualify as a lunatic -- don't try to deny it now . Actually Peter Gabriel is the person who has given us the name, "lunatics" -- many years ago and I think we all now are actually happy to be called "lunatics" -- I suppose there is worse things that we could be called, yeah? As far as "spoilers" are concerned, I think that depends on how much a person really wants to know about the show before he/she sees it. For me, as much as I'm super excited to see the show, I'd just as soon be "surprised" by what songs he does (well, other than SO material, of course!) and I want to be surprised by the stage settings -- he (PG) gave a little bit away in the Rolling Stone interview, but I'm still thinking that there will be some surprises. I've been following Tony Levin's Road Diary, so I'm getting to see glimpses of things and I guess they could be considered "teasers" rather than "spoilers". As for the VIP package -- I think the info in that is generally the same, so if someone lets that out, well, that wouldn't be a big deal to me. I'm very excited to read all of the reviews, comments about all of the shows -- but I want to wait until I'm through with seeing my shows . . . and then I can relive the shows through everyone else's eyes. It helps keep the post-shows depression at bay . I hope you enjoy your show(s) -- I know you will! And, of course, please let us know how it went -- just dont' forget to put "Spoiler Alert" in the beginning for those who want to wait. Kind regards, LunaBeaker!

Cheers and thanks for the christening Pat. I'll wear the label proudly! I think, for me, because I am only going to one show, I sort of want to know as much as I can so that I can pay attention as much to as many details, rather than be surprised, if that makes any sense. Which is, of course, why "Spoiler Alert!"** works so well.... you can stop and move elsewhere, whilst I will gleefully plow straight in. I was 4th row at New Blood, and it was awesome. I'll be first row for oS BtF, and I'm prepared to have my mind blown. (do I sound excited? 50 years old and still getting ramped up for things like this..that's not so bad) **First learned about "Spoiler Alerts" while reading Babylon 5 reviews online nearly 20 years ago now

Cheers to you Beaker! I can understand why you're excited and want to know about it all -- I do too but am doing my best to "savor the moments" for after the shows. You will, no doubt, have a wonderful time and it sounds as if you will have "prime" seats -- so we'll be depending on you to absorb all you can and report back here all that you experienced -- I'm looking forward to hearing/reading all about it. I laughed a bit when I read your comment, "do I sound excited? . . . " -- it was just yesterday that I wrote nearly the same thing on fb -- using my typical wit/sarcasm I posted that I knew this was very unusual of me but that I was getting SO very excited about the shows . . . you can only imagine what some of the comments were from all of the people who know me and know how I feel about PG! I never knew much about Spoiler Alerts myself, since this is the only fan site that I come to read, so it was here that I learned about them and overall, we lunatics have been able to share our joy while keeping some things for happy surprises. BTW -- I'm on the edge of my seat about the e-mail now because it sounded as if there is something "special" in there (different than last year's) . . . hhhmm, guess I'll just have to wait and see what it contains . . . Have a great show and I'll be reading you after my shows . . . Kind regards,

Hello all, Me, my wife and her girlfriend will be at the Philly show... front row of section 103... seat 1-3. While I am not looking for any spoilers per se, and I have also looked at the photos "Papa Bear" has been posting I was wondering if anyone knows if PG is playing in the round again or will it be an end stage set up? I am so psyched b/c my very first concert ever was PG in 1987 E. Rutherford, NJ at the CAA for the SO tour... I was 16 years old... hear I am... 25 yrs later at 41 and just as excited knowing the show is less than a week away!!!!

Hello MrMasse! I'm glad to hear you're going to be at the Philly show! If you're able to, please stop by Broad Street Bullies Pub afterwards -- it's in the Wells Fargo complex, very close to the venue and there's a bunch of lunatics going for an afterSOshow drink and bite to eat! As for the stage -- it's an endstage this time 'round -- but who knows, perhaps there will be two endstages -- one in the front and one in the back for the back to front theme Yes, it's officially Friday here now in the east coast USA, so it's one week away!

Hey Pat, This is our virgin trip to WFC so I am not sure where that is but we will see. Were travelling from the jjersey shore so it will already be a 2 hrs ride one way but well worth it. I am so excited and was completely blown away with the set lists I have seen.. family snapshot ... no self control...family and the fishing net!!!! OMG very cool. Wish he do D.I.Y. or I have the touch or humdrum... but we can't have everything can we.. But my favorite is to see Biko live and have my wife see it.extremely powerful song. We plan to get there early and tail gate so hope u have a great time and maybe we will see u there!!!

mrmasse -- I hope that we're able to say Hi during the show. No problem if you can't make it to the AfterSOShow gathering, as I completely understand the 2-hr drive to the shore. I'll be there early -- having bought myself a VIP tix with soundcheck -- I justify it to those who think I'm out of my mind to pay such a price by explaining that I work incredibly hard and believe I should be able to play just as hard and this is my treat to myself -- PG is my drug of choice and always well worth it it me. I don't expect to be disappointed this time 'round either! I'm with you on wishing he'd do DIY or I Have the Touch or Humdrum -- my ultimate wish is always for Wallflower, but I understand if it doesn't fit in with the theme of the show, so any other song will do just fine! And Biko? well, what can anyone say about Biko that hasn't already been said before -- Solsbury Hill and Biko are PG's two signature songs and will never be off the set list! Okay, travel safely everyone and remember this one very important thing: PHILLY is destined to be the BEST show of the tour and the LOUDEST crowd -- let's keep that in mind as we watch the show!

Wallflower is definitely cool tune as well. Enjoy the sound check. We''ll be in the parking lot drinking and listening to tunes and having dinner. I am still psyched for the show. Hope my wife and her girlfriend enjoy it as much as I know I will. He has none done biko for a while so I am happy to see it back in the set list. San Jacinto Wed have been nice too. I was also hoping Melanie was going to be with him like last time. Enough of me already..... can u tell I am excited!!!!! This is gonna be a blast!!!!

@Pat & Beaker I realte quite a bit to your posts. I'm 48 and have been 'on board' since 'Melt'. I have and still listen regularly also to the old Genesis. For this tour I've spent a good deal of money (2x vip in Mtl, 2x 5th rows in Qc, Merchandise and the deluxe So box set). I've made fellow co-workers smile about my 'lunacy'), etc Like yourselves, i feel this is 'normal' and well deserved. I'm lucky also in the sebse that my wife enjoys PG very much also. We've been seeing all shows (and all dates in Mtl and Qc) for the longest time. As for the post show depression, I don't know if it's the VIP abd/or the box set coming up but the PSD seems to be hiting less gard this time. Have a fantastic evening tonight. You're in for a wonderful experience with the VIP... Just try and absorb it all You'll probably be able to take great up closr pucs of Mr.G and his bandmates. Enjoy !

Aaaahhh! I'm so excited today! I love reading all our pg stories. It's always nice to know I'm not the only lunatic!

Enjoy Pat..... you aren't the only Lunatic. I am jealous that I have to wait for the next Full Moon to see Peter again (heading to Red Rocks from Minnepolis). I'm very lucky that I converted my wife to a huge PG fan as well, so she enjoys it 'almost' as much as I do!!! SHe is the one who doesnt want to know ANYTHING about the current tour and likes to be surprised. I like to have an idea of what I'm in for, so I've 'peeked' a little . Enjoy your day Philly!!!!
