What's the protocol/etiquette for VIP packages? Are good DSLRs normal or frowned upon?
I've seen PG Live many years ago, and have booked "Hot Sound Package" tickets for Boston in September. Mainly just want to be there, and if I do bring a camera I don't expect to use it much, but I don't want to bring a large expensive camera if it's inappropriate, or if security are going to object.
Thoughts?
Thanks

I was able to see Gabriel's sound check for "Growing Up Tour" and the security before hand doesn't mind. It just seems the "standard" concert security will hassle you, its their jobs. But, maybe if a pass is given to pre-show people and you have the camera the security during the show won't bother you.
I hope it works out for you. I know I am bring my camera but, that is just a point and click.

We were at the Santa Barbara New Blood Show last year with a hot sound package and they let us take photos with any kind of camera where ever and when ever we wanted throughout the sound check. The minute we went back in for the actual show performance, security for the venue clamped down and continually stopped people from taking any kind photos including on phones.
