Forums » Live » Pretty sick of Orchestra Stuff .. yet going to Munich and Stuttgart - Incentive?

Apache 28 March 2012 at 8:44pm Posts: 134 (0 today) Status: offline
Seen it all many many times .. and liked it all without exception .. but the background behind this brief Germany stint still seems to me somewhat unexplainable except for the definite "cash factor explanation" in all this. Back in Brighton the Master said before the gig this was to finance the their trip to Africa (way to go I say and what a gig it turned out to be!!!) Would like to hear in the next Full Moon Update what new incentives come along with the May gigs exept seeing what I saw last at Hammersmith. Nevertheless looking forward to Munich and Stuttgart! Bring on the grooves again ... !!

Also wonder , but it could be wonder-bar to hear this all again. And I hope then in May I will definitely be wakened up, though now in spring I'm only going from Winterschlaf to Frühjahrsmüdigkeit. Do you really think, 'they' made him an offer, he could not refuse??? Why do they never do this to me?

"from Winterschlaf to Frühjahrsmüdigkeit" - is that the title of "From Genesis to Revelation" in German?

a close friend and i are travelling a completely silly (but terribly worthwhile) distance (we're flying from Ontario, Canada) exclusively to see Peter sing with the New Blood Orchestra, and spending money we barely have (not that money has ever mattered to either of us), to hear him perform his lovely songs with his lovely orchestra. we will be at the May 9th show, in Berlin, Germany. it still feels like a dream, just to type those words. so will see you soon, Peter, and we can hardly wait. but to respond to 'Apache', who i understand meant no harm or disrespect in his or her post, the 'incentive' to people like us is simple. it is your songs, and the songs you've chosen to perform with the New Blood Orchestra. nothing more is needed. there are still people who have only just only found the means to purchase tickets for this particular presentation of your music. please; please don't change a thing. at least until the end of these final dates. all we want to do is hear the concert you've worked so hard to present to all of us. just our two cents. see you soon. much love, two very small, but very excited people, from Ontario, Canada.

Hey Apache, I can understand where you're coming from -- getting a bit tired of hearing the same and getting anxious to hear something new. I also know that if I were in your shoes, I'd be doing exactly what you're doing -- going to the shows -- just don't want to let any opportunity pass me by. I'm sure you'll enjoy the shows and at the time, I think you'll have some more excitement than you have right now. It works like that for me, as well. The next Full Moon is on May 6 -- perhaps he'll record the message while he's at the shows? Who knows. I'm getting anxious to hear some new stuff also and I do believe he is working on new material -- I seem to recall him mentioning it before and I always trust him, but know that Peter's clock runs on a different time frame than the rest of the world. He seems to work on PGMT instead of GMT, so we just have to wait patiently for evertything to be just right. In any case, enjoy the shows and be sure to keep us posted if there is any "new" stuff tried out at the show -- you never know, he might have that little surprise up his sleeve!
