Dear Peter:
I made a video some days ago. I helped a friend to propose marriage to her girlfriend. Its an original proposal and they are very happy. I edited the video and posted it on facebook for the friends and family to see. But it got out of control. We got 42,000 visits the first 2 days. The thing is that we used a song from one of your discs. The song is Secret World (Live). (original release date: September 13, 1994).
The idea is that we didn't thought this would become so popular, in fact, it wasn't our intention. It doesn't have any commercial purposes.
But I'm a movie director and I know how important credits and copyrights are.
I don't want to have any problems with you or anyone else. So I would like to ask your permission to continue with this youtube video online.
Like the intention of this video was never to raise money, if it does, we wan't to donate it to a cause. It doesn't matter how little it makes. It will all go to a good cause. Or we can fix royalties from the earnings the video makes. I don't know. What ever works best for you.
I think that all this things happening in the world (like SOPA) are because people is not respecting the original authors. I don't want this to be the case.
Thanks for your time,
Dankmar García
