I've started to post pictures from the Milwaukee show on my Facebook page if anyone is interested. I took lots of pictures this time around, lol.

It was my 8th time seeing Peter going back to the Security tour and my second at Summerfest. I thought the show was absoulutely fanatstic. Mercy Street was magical with the harmony & beautiful flute play. However, the bleed through sound from the adjacent stage was unforgivable. I've never experienced this attending the Marcus ampitheatre shows. I don't know whether Peter's sound crew could have raised sound level to drown it out, but they shouldn't have to deal with that kind of crap. The key to enjoying this show to its fullest was to "turn up the signal and wipe out the noise".

Still no wrap-review from Dickie about the show. Wondering if they have just moved on, are having a well earned rest, or a upset about the sound bleed over but don't want to be negative about it.
I think it was a great show and am still smiling about it.
I went to the final day of Summerfest as well (July 10). Didn't see the headliner but there were some great "unknown" bands that were a good listen.

I'm thinking you are right on all accounts Beaker. Dickie is on holiday and perhaps reluctant, don't want to burn bridges issues, to complain publicly about the sound issue. Since the local paper, and others?, complained about the sound issue already, perhaps they don't feel the need to take that any further?
I agree, it was a great show.

I drove 3 hours from Iowa to see PG at Summerfest. It was a fantastic concert! I was a little disappointed being in section 7, but anytime I can see PG is always good. Last time I saw PG was also at Summerfest and the fireworks were an issue, so this time he played it to his advantage with Biko, that was truly moving. Can't wait to see the DVD, and whatever he has planned for the future.

This I found from the Summerfest performance:
'Rhythm of the heat' in a sepia colour; extra lively, with Peter jumping in the end

Thanks for the material from the show: it was certainly the best of the tour!
There is a fairly good bootleg floating in the collectors' pool, for those who are into it.
