The Santa Barbara Bowl had just had a Buffalo Springfield reunion concert on June 8.
The security guard there for the New Blood Tour on June 11 told me that each artist can stipulate what he or she wants, and the venue has to abide by it. That was the reason they were giving us for no cameras/photos, and they were really working hard to enforce it.
Neil Young asked the SB BOWL to not allow anyone to take his or her seat after a song had started. They would have to wait and sit down "between songs", the guard told me. That was "his" stipulation.
It would be a much more enjoyable show for all of us if we could have this rule for your shows, too, Peter!
Please consider it! Thank you!!!!

.
What?
At the risk of sounding rude that sound like a load of crap.
Sorry for the harshness, but why would you want this?

I would like people to take their seats in a timely manner (before the show starts) and STAY THERE - isn't that what the intermission is all about.give people a break to.do whatever they need to do.
I can't imagine Peter (or any performer) likes to see people getting up out of their seats, making everyone in the row stand up or otherwise contort themselves - all this happening sometimes even just a few yards from the stage, while Peter's singing his heart out.
A concert is not a sports event.
For me personally, I cannot "just ignore" what other concert goers around me are doing and saying. If others can - I need a lesson!!!!!
