Does anyone know about what time the sound check starts and what time we would need to be there? My husband's work is pretty picky about giving notice to take time off, so we need to tell them pretty far in advance how much time he is taking to go to this.
Thanks!!!

Not sure yet, but the 2 I've been to in the past were at 2pm. We should get an e-mail giving details about 2 weeks before the show.

You usually will need to bring a form of ID with you such as a passport.
Soundcheck check in is often 2pm, but the actual soundcheck often does not begin until 3pm. However, things could change and, as Ela wrote, you won't know what times for sure until you get that email from either Ticketmaster or Real World about the soundcheck procedure.
Good luck! Wish I was going.

From what I understand- you also need to bring the credit card you charged the ticket too. That's what ticket master told me anyway. Still waiting to hear about times etc. Can't wait!
Let me ask this- once sound check is over- can you leave the venue and then go back in? Maybe each venue is different but I would love to go back down to the hotel I'm staying at for the night and change clothes, freshen up and drink a glass of wine before the show.
yes, i love to wine!

I think that would depend on the individual venue, Lore.

I would hope they let you leave and come back, if the sound check is at 2 and the show does not start til 8, that's a lot of hours to just sit around.

Pre-show hospitality- what does that mean exactly?
Does that mean we get cheese and crackers? Or does that mean someone is nice and welcomes you and gives you your goody bag of stuff?

Well, that's the big "WTF" of the whole RW explanation of what happens before the soundcheck. In other words - they don't know. What happens, happens.
In Leipzig, we were given a bottle of water with our bag, tickets and T-shirts and allowed to stay in the arena diner in between soundcheck & doors pening for the concert. Which was nice because it was pouring rain outside.
Contrast this to Berlin & Radio City Music Hall, where we were kicked out of the venues entirely between soundcheck & doors opening for concert.

Lore-based on my experiences, you leave after sound check, and can go where ever it is you want to go, but then return for the show. In Verona, we ran outside, had a quick dinner, and a glass of wine, and then got in the line to go back inside for the show. We did have to show the credit card used to purchase the package, and ID as well in order to get our tickets, shirts, laminates. As far as the hospitality goes, who knows? This will be my first time with this sort of thing. They did not have this before, and it's got me wondering as well. We shall see. Maybe I'll try to send an e-mail to ask about times though. I expect to get an e-mail about 2 weeks before the show with details for the particular show.

I just checked the sound check info on Ticketmaster, and it says we will get information pertaining to the sound check package approximately one week before the show. I will be traveling the week before my show, and will have to check the internet when I can.
