.was superb and I got to meet Peter and shake his hand. While sitting and waiting for the soundcheck to start I was struck in awe as Peter, standing at the end of the row of seats I was in said hello to everyone and then came and shook everyone's hand. Since we had been told not to expect Peter to show up I was in shock and awe, so much so I couldn't think of anything to say and I said something stupid like "Hi Peter, love to meet you", he said "lovely to meet you too". I felt such an idiot and then realised others were getting their picture taken with him but I was to embarrassed to ask when he came back behind my row to talk to others. Apart from that, the soundcheck was great despite starting late due to flight delays and the concert was amazing. Thankyou Peter for a great concert and for coming and saying hello. By the way, my friend who was with me had never seen or heard of Peter Gabriel before yesterday, she too is now a big fan and in the process of buying your back catalogue. Paul J Shadwell
