This mail? "Please note that the sound check will now be at approximately 4pm, so please arrive at the venue at 3pm so that we have time to give you your ticket and t-shirt package. The meeting place has also been changed and is now at Gate N 17 (instead of the previous instructions we gave you)" So soundcheck is delayed?
Ela 21 September 2010 at 6:40pm Posts: 1334 (0 today) Status: offline
Yes, sound check is delayed, so now there is less time between the sound check and the show. There will still be a gathering at Bar Emanuel, but some of us will be later getting there, due to the later sound check. More time to see the sights before the sound check and then show. It's coming up quickly!

Bar Emanuel - wasn't he a former Israeli prime minister? (Of course he denies any relation with Bar Liston). :-] I'll be in VR early (hopefully): there is going to be a fair or something that day, so I would like to buy some regional products (= i.e. WINE :-]). Will see if there is anyone at the bar. (Hope I find a free parking spot for my car. )
Apache 21 September 2010 at 9:42pm Posts: 134 (0 today) Status: offline

Hi all! Yes,something is changed,we have received the mail too. . . . BUT NOT THE LOVE for Peter! Gate 17 is very easy to find, each gate is numbered, don't worry! For Apache: we went last week at Pub Hartigan's,very lovely place,it's an Irish Pub really nice with good prices, very close to the Arena, only 5 minutes to walk. But,unfortunately,it's closed on Sunday :-] If you have the chance to go on Saturday,it's very nice! So. . . as someone said "Chi vuol esser lieto sia,del domani non v'e' certezza" ( i translate, but i am not sure, pleae Caste,if you want, correct me,thanks: Who wants to be happy, let it be,tomorrow we will not know") I say that no problem if something change, there is Peter and his fantastic Art and voice with us . . .and happy "waiting" moments! See you all in Verona! PE-TER PE-TER PE-TER PE-TER PE-TERRRRRRRR. . . . .WE LOVE YOU!! Thank you to exist in this Planet!

@Apache: the fair is going to be in the streets of Verona - I'm not from there so I don't know exactly where. And after buying the wine, I won't even know exactly where I am. :-] (NOT! - Damn, I promised myself I were going to be sober for the concert .
Apache 22 September 2010 at 7:22pm Posts: 134 (0 today) Status: offline
I think that's the wrong date to be (completely) sober Caste Am a bit worried about the weather though . there's showers in the forecast, what, however, is not really surprising looking back at the PG gigs over the last couple of years . is it. .

The forecast are getting better, it's now clear all day. http://www.weather-forecast.com/locations/Verona/forecasts/latest

.on the other hand, we might miss a very special performance of "I think it's going to rain today": Nature's special effects are the best ones.

"Some sort of filming" . yup. that's what I just heard as well. the guy seemed pretty much shaken up though . Madrid from what I've read does'nt seen to have been a very pleasant stop of the tour. 25% capacity . give me a break . Just received Email about picking up tickets at the venue from ticketone.it . thankfully all in Italian . and no Info where exactly etc. Anyhow. just out of interest . is the arena di verona sold out ? Off tomorrow.
rraven 23 September 2010 at 9:40pm Posts: 3102 (0 today) Status: offline
25% capacity??? Ohhhh, I actually feel sorry for PG & the orchestra. I shouldn't be, though - I'm sure he & the orchestra & the crew got over it quickly. Been a loooooonnnggg time since he didn't fill a house at least 3/4 of the way. But from Javier was writing, those that went had a great time. I have heard rumors that Verona sold out about a month ago but I haven't been able to confirm. Of course, since I can't go, I didn't check out too vigorously.

I would imagine the Verona show would be sold out - they are nuts for PG in Italy.
Apache 24 September 2010 at 11:42pm Posts: 134 (0 today) Status: offline
Tour Diary mentions that it's gonna be HUGE . and the word DVD
