I was robbed of $440.00. I paid for two tickets to see a performer I have admired for years. What I got was subjected to 2 hours of monotonous droning on a and orchestra that wasn't given anything to play. One song blended into the next, equally painful to listen to. Constantly waiting for a change in pace that never came, a song that I might recognize.anything. Honestly. that was insulting. Don't do it again or I am calling the cops.

Well if you bought the CD before you went to see him, you must have known what to expect.an orchestra, no guitars no drums. I saw him in London, thought it was fabulous!.am going again to Koln. Sorry you think that way but each to their own. Derek

Yeah u should try listening to the cd first. It really grows on u. I saw him at NYC on may 2 and the first half was dreadful with peters vocals but the second half was just superb.

I thought vocally he was superb."Fade Out" which I still have trouble liking was done so much better live. Lets face it, I am sure some people would like to see PG just play hits after hits, after all thats what the Stones have been doing for years. Personally when I listen to PG or see him live it is an "experience" you might hate it all or love it all, but what you can say is that he is different and challenges you to broaden your musical tastes. Sorry to rant.! Regards and peace Del

. . .yes,i agree,Peter is always "an experience" to live One of millions of reasons that i LOVE this incredible Artist is that he is never the same as think you know,as you think you can expect. . . . Change. . . Renewall. . . Surprise. . . How many artists in the world can be like this? Mmmmmmhhhhhhhhhhhhh. . . . sorry,i think nobody . Nobody BUT Peter YES. Because he can,he chooses,he IS. He IS,now, tomorrow,in future. . . . not he reamins in the past. GRANDE PETER!!!

To the OP Sure, PG owes you $440.00 - but before asking him for that, go ask god for something else you were deprived of: a fucking pair of ears. Now was *that* "insulting" enough?

ihaventgotone: "Yes I have been a life long fan of both Genesis and PG." anybody care to interpret this statement given PG left the band in 1975? anybody else noticing the pattern with these posts? it's either this type or complaints about PG's absence at the rock and roll hall of fame induction ceremony. i never knew the followers of phil were so bitter. here's another thing that you haven't got: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wOKK8mAkiUI

I can do the insult one better: Ihaventgotaclueoralife: If you don't FUCK OFF this forum right now, may you get hit by a train, become a quadroplegic and then lose the lawsuit.

Rraven, That's too harsh - may he be irritated with an anal itch that lasts no less than a year. :-]

well said Rraven - you spoke out my thoughts. We heard enough of these opinions. This forum is NOT a garbage-can for anti-Gabriel-statements.

Yeah - let this forum go back to what it was and always should be: a garbage can for anti-Collins statements! :-] :-]

wow, i thought the four shows I saw were all amazing. i guess everyone has their opinion, but to ask for your money back on the artists fan forum website is not a wise idea. it was advertised what it was and they all delivered.

O, before I forget - to the OP: after the Morley guy has finished, you too can have a bite of my meaty Genoa salami.

just wanted to say I agree with Chawin, it's one of the funniest thread titles ever! :-] And of course the author needs a pair of ears. "An orchestra that wasn't given anything to play", Christ, are you sure you were at a PG concert? :-]
