Hey. Here's the latest info. Phil had a neck injury and had an operation and after the operation he couldn't play drums anymore. But the reason the question came up is they were thinking of having a one night reunion and (I'm not sure about this so please correct me) after getting into the Rock n Roll hall of fame, and they asked Peter if he would like to join them, at the Hall of Fame. This is I think the second time they've asked him, the first time being just before they had their tour in 2007, and now, but both times he said he's too busy with his touring and album making. So IF he was going to play drums, Peter would be singing.
Phil said he is going to physical therapy and may be able to play drums in the future, but at this point he is taping the drum sticks to his wrists.
The Genesis site has been taken down, I'm not sure for how long, maybe permanently. Mike Rutherford says (Spinner.com) he won't rule out a tour with Phil, but said it isn't likely at this point.the Phil Collins website is under construction, but if you sign up you can get the latest news. He is working on an album, which will be released in the fall.I'm hoping he comes out this way to the West coast, New York is near impossible for me. So everyone try and get as much info as possible!!!! Keep going on Ticketmaster every day like I do for any presales.
