Anyone going to the NYC shows may want to pursue this info from Radio City Music Hall (scroll down to Code of Conduct):

Hmmm, so are, I'm thinking yes, cameras allowed? Could cause issues from those going to the gathering to then not be allowed to bring cameras into RCMH.

Cameras
For the Christmas Spectacular and other family events, 35mm and digital cameras will be permitted in Radio City Music Hall, however, you must refrain from taking pictures during the performance. Taking photos during events is distracting not only to the performers, but your fellow patrons as well. Video cameras/recorders are strictly prohibited. This policy will be strictly enforced.
For concert events, this policy is at the discretion of the artist. Please call Guest Relations at 212-465-6225, any weekday during normal business hours, for more information.
I'm guessing this means cameras are allowed but are to be pocketed when the show goes on. Also, anything that can do video recording to put up on YouTube will be yanked.

Rraven.have you called the guest relations number? I will next week. It seems like most of the concerts I've been to lately have allowed cameras, and I've not brought mine, and then been disappointed that I didn't have anything but my cell camera. I'll be attending the sound check too, and really would be heartbroken to show up without it, and then find out I could have.

As there are so many pictures and videos of Peter's concerts I hope to find some confirmation of cameras being allowed. I'm more concerned about the gathering then the show, as none of my cameras really have the ability to get good shots in that kind of lighting anyway. Don't want to assume anything and would hate to have my camera stolen by RCMH ya know?

I'm not going to call Radio City Music Hall because I don't own a camera - still, video or otherwise. I really don't want to pay for a long distance call when I don't have to.

i had actually called a month ago and they told me absolutely no photography at all. they said even a point and shoot could result in confiscation of the camera or being ejected from the venue

I hope the guy I spoke to knew what he was talking about.I'll call again tomorrow.I called Guest Relations at 212-465-6225, and asked about Peter Gabriel's show. I had read on their website that it was up to the performer whether cameras are allowed. I'll check again.what a problem it would be to show up with a camera that they won't allow in.

I called again today, and got the same story.Yes cameras are allowed. No flash photography, and this time instead of saying no professional lenses, he said no detachable lenses.

I'm hoping to get close enough to say "hey"! Actually I'd like to get close enough to give him a hug! Thanks.the New Blood ticket bundle is an early birthday gift from my husband. Have you seen PG in concert before Kimmer? Hopefully you've either already seen him on this tour in London or Berlin, or have tix to one of the shows in Montreal, NYC or LA.
