Absolutely, saw the O2 show last night and was astounded at great his voice sounded and how well the orchestrations worked for some of the older tracks like San Jacinto, Rhythm, Signal to Noise and Digging. Just a couple didn't quite hit it for me, Darkness being one of them.

San Jacinto made me cry! and have to say i really loved 'Darkness'.
Come to think of it i loved it all!
Both orchestra and orchestration were superb and PG's voice as mesmerising as ever.

San Jacinto was a highlight of the show, and made me sob like a baby.
Agree with all the above.

I've seen some ropey vocals from Pete in my time but last night at the 02 was amazing.
I wonder what has made him pull this out of the bag?
Do you think it is playing with the classical mob that has made him perform his best?
I really do think that last night was the best vocal I've ever seen him give live.
When he does it he REALLY does it!

I agree. His voice was AMAZING last night. The power and emotion! I know that SMB wasn't too overproduced so the songs had the same quality live. Having said that, his voice in the second half - wow! The middle of Don't Give Up was a highlight for me (out of many).
