World music festival WOMAD will be held in South America next year for the 1st time, with an event to be staged in BRAZIL on SEPTEMBER 3-5. The 1st SOUTH AMERICAN WOMAD will take place in the BRAZILIAN coastal town of Costa de Sauipe, about 100 kilometres from the regional capital of Salvador de Bahia, on north-eastern BRAZIL. Again, no acts have been confirmed as yet.
