OK, so this most likely means that WOMAD is in trouble, for those of you who are old enough, PG started Womad back in er 1985? Nearly whent bust and so did "six of the best" Milton Keynes 1986? (somebody correct me if i have the dates slightly out), as Genesis reunion to lift Womad out of debpt. Maybe PG is now "closing the circle" to boost Womad 2009 attendance? So anybody who fives a f**k, show your support - if you have not already got a ticket - get one. If you have seen PG before, then you know what to expect, If you have not, then open yourself up to the experience.
Dont miss this, become one of us, dont give up and grow up!
If Womad needs support, lets give it our best!
To the usual suspects, you know who you are!

Hello Angel7 -
The "1st WOMAD-Festival" and "Six Of The Best" were both in the year 1982.

Hi Marc,
Dont worry about not remembering the year of six of the best, I was there and thought it was in 83! God it was wet and good - like Womad 2007.
I'll be there, as will Magic Wookie and Sesmo. Ignoring the music side and PG's appearance for a second Womad is still to me by far the best festival for a great vibe, brilliant site, fantastic loos! and a safe family atomosphere for everyone.
If ticket sales are needed all PG fans need to spread the word, Womad is a great place to be rain or shine.
Yes, if you are a PG fan and are wavering about going dont - it will be special, there are alternatives to camping check the Womad pages; you don't need to be digging in the dirt.
After all its not far from Solsbury Hill pop across and take some family snapshots.

Chawin,
Don't take the risk, book them now and be sure , the only extra cost is the normal rip off booking fee.
Robert Plant played a Womad in Dubai? in May, it would be magic if he did the slot before Peter at Womad here and it would boost sales if they were flagging.
