what do you think of an annual "Passion" tour around the "Holy Week" Easter season? Rome, New York, Madrid, London, Paris. It is a wonderful track and for many Christians and followers of Christ - it strikes a nerve in a positive way. Thanks for this Mr. Gabriel(from a devout follower who started with "From Genesis To Revelation" and ended with "Lamb Lies Down.")

I would dearly love to see 'Passion' peformed live, as it is possibly my favourite Peter Gabriel album.
However, wasn't the film to which the album was the soundtrack (The Last Temptation of Christ) steeped in controversy? Would many Christians welcome a tour of music associated with the film, particularly during Holy Week? I worry that it might be deemed as poor timing or bad taste.
Still, a great idea, Cro.

I think it was 1989, that Peter was playing at least one concert, where he was performing some tracks from "Passion" as a medley - this "medley" had a certain name, that I cannot recall right now.
"Zaar", the whole album "Passion" and "Long Walk Home" were always used to open Gabriel-live shows of the last tours since 1993. (of course NOT live) - and also "Low Light" from "OVO".
Let me think of. . .
"The ARCTIC Mandela Concert" in Norway I think around 2003/04 - Peter performed "Washing of the Water" and "Father, Son". . .then he came back on stage - but he was in the background - to join the French-Armenian doudouk-player and Real World-artist "Djivan Gasparyan" and ALSO Queen`s guitarist Brian May on "The Feeling Begins" from "Passion". (The track can be heard on "the GENERAL-topic" - search for the "Gabriel covered by other artists"-thread by MAK in the USA (page 7 or somewhere.)
At the end of the "Secret World Live"-DVD there is also a performance by Levon Minassian, whom we got also on "Blood of Eden" and "Fourteen Black Paintings" playing the doudouk.
And also on the "Still Growing Up"-DVD" - once again: Levon Minassian with "The Feeling Begins".
