I saw Peter in concert with my mom back in the 80s for the So tour. I only remember a bit of it but I loved being there and experiencing it! At that time, I didn't know much of his songs and stuff but now that I am older I know a lot of his songs and stuff. I do hope he tours the USA again very soon especially Atlantic City, NJ!

So I can experience and love seeing him live again! Did anyone else see him during the So tour? If so, what was your memories (if you have any lol) of that concert? Thanks.

I saw him. Spent all night in line to get tickets. Someone I met in line provided us with chemical enhancement for this show.
I remember that the tempo of the 2 big hits: Sledgehammer and Big Time seemed off. I was a bit put off by the crowd which seemed to be only interested in those two songs. PG deserved the mega popularity he enjoyed in the mid 80s, but it was a net loss for his true fans. I hate "popular" music. It is just so disposable. I also am not a fan of the type of fan that attends shows of whoever the flavor of the day is, for they don't appreciate the entire body of work, only the "hot" single.
That being said, I loved the giant lamps that were part of the set. Gladly, I can say that the subsequent times I saw PG perform, the crowd was a PG crowd, not a pop music crowd.
Come back to America in 08. It doesn't matter where. I will gladly spend the money to get to wherever I need to go to see another PG show.

Saw him in Milan in 1987.
He was great, but I din't like the sounds and half of the band.
Much better in 2003/2004, not to mention 2007 - when he kicked ass.

I saw Pete in Birmingham at the Odeon when I was about 18 going back many years. Would have loved to have seen Genesis before, he left but, My dad would not let me go! When I saw him he did Marvin Gaye's track 'I heard it through the grape vine', and he came over the stage on a huge swing/rope he was brilliant! I actually managed to shake his hand, I was so nervous and nearly did not do it but was pushed by my then boyfriend. Never seen him again, would love to.

One of the best concerts that I have ever seen. "The Flood" was poignant and tear-evoking.
And I will never ever forget the resplendent sight of the African backing singers dressed in their colorful garb as they winged and bopped their way around the stage to "In Your Eyes."
I'm glad to say that it came to pass that that track eventually outshone "Sledgehammer" and "Big Time," as I always believed that it would. Sadly it was never released as a single in Britain, only in North America.
Yes, I remember with glee, joy and sadness (that it was so, so long ago) that I was privileged to call this my first PG concert (Earls Court, London).
