yes i did mean you! i clued in to your nickname change after i posted the note. i went back to the old messages & saw 'dark root' had been changed to 'sapling'. yes i'm still here too! wish i'd known about this website & forum before. i only discovered it a couple of years ago. thanks for the nice compliment! i haven't had much time to produce any new pieces lately though. it was such a busy & beautiful summer here on the st. lawrence river. but i'm involved in a local studio tour at the end of september so i'd better get my butt in gear! it's great to hear from you, michelle http://michellecfecit.wordpress.com/

We all seem stuck in a script-at least from what I've seen from just popping in once in a while. best wishes for sucess in your endeavour! I know how much work it takes to put a show together, no matter how big or small the exhibition...I'm sure you'll be wonderful.

Hey michelle! Really great pieces! Wonderful ideas. I really like "human rights on the brain" and "it's high noon" the short film. You've done so much work here. I need time to have a really good look. And of course your paintings have always had a unique feel to them. Something deeper comes through which is so fantastic! I need way more time to look through your poetry it's all very intriguing. Wonderful ideas! you are so creative and so open! I'm sending massive smiles and good wishes for your continued success! Keep it coming! As for darkroot to sapling It is a kind of rebirth if you like, or tilting of a picture to uncover a different perspective. I'm trying to just letting life lead me. It(life) threw me a giant curve ball a little while back and my response surprised me. Opening my eyes to a deeper understanding of the complexities of being human. I feel now as a new born(sapling) despite my age. For this moment it feels good. thanks for the interest.
