Oh my God!!! I didn't even think about that lore! Separate suns they have seemed to me. But as you say it, I can hear it. Her whispered softness engulfing his thunderous warmth!! surely the universe would shift at such a collaboration.

when i was first dating my husband he had a kate bush album in the house. (probably from an ex-girlfriend!) i had heard kate bush before, cloudbusting & running up that hill on muchmusic made kate bush popular. but i listened to that earlier album over & over. the man with the child in his eyes & the kick inside are two that i learned by heart. now 20 years later i'm finally getting proper training to know how the sing them! she is so beautiful & her voice transcends time. my voice teacher hadn't really heard kb's music before & has made an observation that kb was either mostly stoned or was a brilliant songwriter! she's come to the conclusion that it's the latter. but i agree with you sapling that imogen heap has passion too. i've heard that song before. not sure where or when. http://michellecfecit.wordpress.com/

hey michelle! Hope you're havinga great holiday season yes, that certain something they both have. I first fell in love with Kate after an interview she did in the mid-late eighties. Someone asked her something silly like which medium she should stick to(artistic expression, dance, being a pop star something along thoses lines). I remember her answer summed up to- it didn't matter what she was doing it was all an expression of who she was and it took whatever form that seemed right to her. Sorry if I'm miss remembering but it's clear in my mind and I've love her ever since. A true artist. Imogen, Is fasinating to me. She is like an open thought. Watching her work and her bravery in exposing herself like she does has been very inspiring. Her music can be a bit difficult it's like wading through a new country- but there are so many beautiful surprises that she has me captivated. The sound of her voice is the most amazing thing about her. There is a familiar magic to it. Can't really explain. It just sounds like home. I think she is wonderful.
