This is very sad indeed, it is probably a combination of environment, peer group and upbringing, although the latter is more or less debatable depending on who has done the job. I do believe that very young people don't really understand the full concepts of good and evil and if they are in an environment where wrong is considered right how do they tell the difference. Also why have guns that are not stored in the right place at the right time. In fact why have guns at all, maybe because now we live in a world that dictates an eye for eye and a tooth for a tooth.
