The band SRC was a very popular band from 1967 through about 1972. They produced 3 albums with Capitol records that did quite well. Their sound was influential to many soon to be famous bands. For example, Peter Gabriel of Genesis fame, once stated that "He wore the grooves down on his SRC record growing up". When I listen to the first album I can hear where Genesis got their sound. In fact, historians are saying that SRC may be one of the first psychedelic bands on the scene.
