"Allow me to tell you a little more about these drums which I believe are very special. The band SRC was a very popular band from 1967 through about 1972. They produced 3 albums with Capitol records that did quite well. Their sound was influential to many soon to be famous bands. For example, Peter Gabriel of Genesis fame, once stated that "He wore the grooves down on his SRC record growing up". When I listen to the first album I can hear where Genesis got their sound. In fact, historians are saying that SRC may be one of the first psychedelic bands on the scene.
The band has a web site, www.srcwebsite.com, which is well maintained and offers a ton of info on the history, pictures, members, music and other material. The best thing is there is a detailed itinerary that spans about 3 years, giving dates, venues and the acts they performed with. They starred along side a plethora big name bands of the emerging rock era. Like Led Zepplin, Jethro Tull, Jeff Beck Group, Grand Funk, Ted Nuegent, Alice Cooper, Rush, Bob Seger, just to name a few and the list goes on and on."
