Any chance of this becoming a possible "full time" radio station? Not just around at the time of the festivals? I was at a discussion regarding music from around the world recently, and it struck me that there is a gap in the programme for people such as ourselves who would like to listen to more ethnic types of music. So many artists, styles, cultures out there, the music would be never ending! Gig Guide and CD plugs would help get people noticed too. Heres hoping :-] :-]

A brilliant idea.

I could think of a special radio-show - at least one hour in week - where this kind of music - "world music", WOMAD- and Real World Records-artists and tunes could be featured. For example there are some estimated 170 album-releases on Real World Records: . . .and there is SO MUCH GOOD STUFF, that also could get some air-play - at least ONLY ONE HOUR A WEEK !

Maybe a nudge on the WOMAD forum might help too Ses?
