There is a wonderful natural concert hall in France. It's 25 kms westbound of Paris. In king Louis XVth hunting forest near Versailles lies a very long and wide garden with a gentle slope overlooking the famous "chevaux de Marly" fountains.
There is also our big association for astronomy AFA. We believe that people educated to space generate more tolerance, more humanity and a true philosophy about human origins and earth future.
Linked to over 360 associations in France and Europe we want to organise a PG concert in this natural place connnected to space. No words but images and sounds. And we believe mister Gabriel would be the perfect sky messenger.
We would be thankful to anyone who could give him this message or someone of his staff. The idea is to build an international festival that will speak to everyone through Peter Gabriel universal communication power.
Thank you for anyhelp to get in touch.

When the Voyager space probe was waaayyy beyond Jupiter, Dr. Carl Sagan had NASA turn the probe around so it could take a portrait of the Earth. All you can see of the world is a pale blue dot.
Radio waves do travel through space, althuogh not as fast as the speed of light. So PG is alredy talking to the universe, in a way.
I wish you well on the festival. It's a great idea.

One of the Astronauts on the Space Shuttle had Peter's Book of Love played to him from his wife as a wake up call (I think) a year or two ago.
How romantic.
