Please give Steve Shehan a slot at WOMAD, what a talented guy he is. He was drummer/pecussionist for a few years with Paul Simon too!

Good call and great clips Sezzers. Love the demo ones with brushes and calabashes.
I repeat: 'Baka Beyond' are excellent!

Nice to hear - also from the other threads - that people enjoyed this year`s WOMAD.
I think PG himself was very active for WOMAD in the last couple of years by playing twice there (2007 and 2009) with a full concert.
It looks like there will be NO WOMAD in South-America this year - they mentioned Brazil somewhere in an article last year.

Womad is the most chilled place around and many of us see Peter walking around with his family but respect him enough not to interfere with his Womad and we dont interupt his day.
Would be good if he invited the loonies from this group who are at Womad to an informal meet up back stage somewhere over a coffee or a beer and we could exchange questions.

I think 2 well-known artists COULD appear on the list of performing artists for "WOMAD summer 2011 in England"
, next year.
1.) Jimmy Cliff ("I can see clearly now"), currently supporting WITNESS. I am sure Peter will offer Jimmy the opportunity to play there.
2.) Robert Plant (Led Zeppelin), recently performing live with Real World-artists "Justin Adams and Juldeh Camara".
note: this is only my speculation for next year.

Please Peter can we have a "One to One" with yourself and John Metcalf at WOMAD this year with signing afterwards?
Even better if it coincided with the release of the 3D DVD, or the CD.
The one you did with Karl on the release of Big Blue Ball was a great success.
Yes I remember it well, getting crushed by lunatics whilst scrabbling to get me stuff signed!!

Still wish they would have an area where musicians could "Jam".
A nice Red tent with Strawberries painted on it.
Who knows what catchy tunes might come out of a "Strawberry Jam" session??!!
Or even which famous musician or singer might pop in by surprise?
Pie in the sky?
I am a lunatic after all! :-]
