20 songs Cimber, all wonderful but that can't be enough. I know PG's only human but. . .
I'm so with you on MOV though with Peter's vocals, or Indigo. Think he might do 'Flood' ?
I guess it would make sense to do something similar to South American tour given the Witness focus - Wallflower? Ohhhh I don't know. :-]

PETER GABRIEL PLAYING LIVE IN THIS MOMENT AT WOMAD.
Any better idea for WOMAD ???

Womad could do with more signs for first time visitors, e.g. Purple carpark direction signs, so prevent partner and I (plus others) taking the wrong direction and walking the long way around in the dark. Boring but required; Glastonbury have more signs even though the site is far larger.
Great gigs on 25 July at WOMAD, including PG's (some sound glitches but strong performances).

I agree with that one Steve, even people who have been to the Charlton Park venue before were a bit disorientated by the lack of signs across carparks etc.
When you go next time download the site map, it was a help to us getting our bearings before we went.
Another tip, if you have the main house to your left, you are walking away from the site!! :-]
I know loo's are always complained about at these festivals, so no change here then!
Dont get me wrong they were manned axceptionally well with the attendants shouting out where free ones were, replenishing loo roll and hand wash, WELL DONE THE LOO ATTENDANTS.
BUT there was a cronic lack of urinals for the Gents.
The hubby and I queued up for the loo, about thirty people in front of us. One of the attendants shouted out, "any guys needing a No1 there is a urinal at the back, go straight thrugh".
Instantly the queue halved in size.
According to the hubby, this was an improvised urinal, with a length of guttering leading to a tank which was then pumped into a larger tank. Well done whoever thought of that.
So, more urinals for the Gents please, it WILL halve the " Queue for the Loo". :-]
Another thing struck me as we were wondering around in the rain on Sunday eating our Goan Prawn Curry, was the lack of a covered area for eating under.
Some stalls had thier own covered area but as they are probably charged by the sq ft not many had this.
It would come in handy to keep out of the sun on a scorcher as well.
A covered seated area for eating under if it throws it down, which doubles up as a shelter in the blasing sun too!! :-]

Have to agree with the signage! And yes Sesmo a bit too much water in my curry too. A kind of picnic area or communal covered area - a bit like the Siam or Big Red tent areas. Sometimes you just wanted to sit down and rest the weary feet. I've got a toilet story too but it would make you go 'urrrgh'. However, a nice story was my meeting a german lady in the queue. We discussed all the performances to date and it then turned out she was especially looking forward to PG. We had a hug then. :-]
My sister and I thought your hubby was lovely by the way.

Sorry for the late reply again, just got back from a bit more travelling.( Understatement!)
This time up to Scotland via an overnight at my sisters in Coventry, then back down to Cornwall via another overnighter in Cov!!
Pooped aint the word, but at least the hubby did all the driving for a change.
Yes Duddy, I can imagine the kind of "URRRGH" story you mean regarding the loos. After dark tends to be when the biggest "URRRGH's" are about, they seem to be nocturnal!
Thank god for head torches!!
WOMAD is one of those places where people just seem to get on with other people, and alot more PG fans go there than we realise probably. It's nice when things like that happen.
Thanks for the compliment about the hubby, your sister was really nice too. :-]
Chawin, there is the old saying . . . . . "Don't take the pi## out of Lager, it has to have some taste to it ".

I know they have the procession on the Sunday, but I think a themed fancy dress day would be fun to do.
Or maybe a Lunatic thing to do, PG costumes or makeup,
song themes or charachters etc, Big Time pimps an all!!

Theres always room for improvement.
A nice big firework display would be nice for the last night of WOMAD.
I'm sure they could find somewhere safe enough in the huge grounds to have one.
Pretty please.
