Petal 1 : Total depravity of the flesh. The flesh is said to be totally depraved by these people. They think that the physical hand is sinful. They believe the material creation is sinful. They say that little children go to Hell, but Jesus said that little children were the kingdom of Heaven. Avoid these kind of people, who believe such cruel and untrue things. Have nothing to do with them. You can rip that off the roll. Petal 2 : Unconditional Salvation. What ! What Bible have they been reading? There is one condition we must meet to be saved. That is faith in the Gospel, which is the simple message that Jesus died for our sins and rose from the dead. It says this hundreds of times in the letters of Paul. False theology can blind your eyes to the clear truth. These people are the modern day Pharisees. You can wipe that from yourself. Petal 3 : Limited Atonement. Oh evil teaching. To say that Jesus did not die for the whole world is deplorable. You can throw that in the bowl. Petal 4 : Irresistible Grace. But the Bible says we can resist the Holy Spirit. It says that Israel would not be gathered, even though Jesus longed to gather them. You can flush that down the toilet. Petal 5 : Perseverance of the saints. They understand this in a wrong way. They say that the saint will persevere. This ignores the very meaning of the word. To persevere means to persist. To persist is to go on. If you say that you will go on, that?s another word. We must continue in the faith, or we have believed in vain. You can put the seat cover down before you leave. And so the wilted tulip spins down, down, down, in to the cesspool of false teaching.
