Hi Forum (and Mr. Gabriel), I have just finished realising a project called the http://www.obamabbqday.com . It's an idea that Aunty Selena Blakeney developed at a party we attended on the 5th November 2009. We are using the occassion to draw attention to the U N's General Assembly's Declaration on Rights for Indigenous Peoples, a declaration not yet adopted by our new government here in Australia. Please drop in and send us your support http://www.obamabbqday.com Hopefully there will be BBQs all over Australia on that day. The biggest one will most likely be at Redfern, in Sydney NSW. We will be having a jazz pianist who is here for the Sydney Festival, a Tongan Brass Band and many other musicians jamming aroudn the piano that wil be available outside 26 Hugo Street. Jayne

BTW it's taking place from 11:30 am on the 21st of January after the inauguration.
