Hi there, I was just about to begin translations of PG1 and PG2 into German with a friend of mine who is a writer as I realised that I actually don't know the meaning of all songs of these albums. I always felt like these two albums need to be available in German as well. Hier kommt die Flut is a tremendously moving song - and it's the only way my mother understands it, by the way. So this friend of mine and me translated Mother of Violence into German. (If there's anyone interested in the translation, feel free to drop me a line). I'd like to translate Humdrum as the next song. What is the meaning of this one, please? Is there anyone to know? By the way, me I am a amateur musician. So what we are actually doing is more than a translation. We try to pick the right words for the right meaning and give respect to the sound forming as well. Thanks, Max

.when writing the above I just thought. what about a multi-lingual lyric book? I mean, the lyrics of PG1 - PG4 translated into Italian, Spanish, German, French, Portoguese. and maybe Hindi, Chinese, Japain.Hausa, Suaheli. etc. Sounds like a project to me. This would need a common understanding of the songs, some translators and musicians who can assist with sound forming and rhythm.
