There was no sheet lightening today in these white silver clouds
Above the mountains hanging without words in their ears
Voices crying why those memories unwanted?
In dark charges near the depths
echos of lightening and the smell of burnt oxides ozone and sparks
2008 from an eastbound view on the 255 bus across Lake Washington thinking of Mt. Rainer and the summer of 2007 in Enumclaw. On the bus today, using all my well earned politics as I walked away to the front of the bus against those antagonistically very real voices in the back of the bus whose job it was for two hours to ride the backseats and speak loudly in hopes of some attention. which as it seemed for better or for worse. bad attention for some men was better than none at all.
