got this on VHS, but no longer have a player. as this was originally released on VHS and laser disc, there cant be too much that needs to be done to the footage so it can be dropped onto a DVD. !!

I've found the footage, but its near impossible to download.
You can try contacting a guy on YouTube who put it up in the first place, do some searching

Seeing the Melbourne concert was cancelled in Melboutrne on Nov 1 the least that could be done to make up for such a disappointment would be to release POV on DVD!!!!!!!

I've acquired a perfect laserdisc rip, its still not perfect but it works

LaserDisc was limited, but its way better than the VHS rips
Its a digital transfer which means no noise.
PM me if you want help getting it

After getting Growing Up Live and Unwrapped i had a look at this little teaser i'd heard so much about.
Honestly its not much of a teaser at all, its a full blown performance.
i'd say in mid restoration, some film grain but very clean.
Looks like a high def master from the 16 or 35mm film.
The handycam footage can't be restored much, but they could create a new "frame" for it, maybe filling the 16:9 aspect.
Soundtrack had a "betaish" feel to it, needs Peters voice needs to pan slightly more into the front speakers. Could use a few percent more audience noise.
After all P.O.V wasn't all that intimate.
Not much more to pick on, the fact that they bothered starting on the audio is proof on this thing actually getting released.
Why else, hope it happens soon.
Only work left i could see was tidying up the restoration and dusting off some bonus material.
Sorry for getting a bit technical, i'm just heading for an audio engineer/technician or video technician education

No Self Control. The best version ever.
Get this out on Blu-ray (or DVD).
No reason for delaying anymore.
Come on!

Could someone explain the real meaning of POV? Is it the video in general,or a personal live video view?

Thanks,Duddy. Now I see, it is the name and not the tecnics. The youtubes I had not seen yet, I only look to former pages, when I want to know, if I missed something.Though I know, I missed much, I'm too lazy to search for everything.

The mixture of documentary-introduction and concert is cool.I also had not seen Peter singing Don't give up! in both parts. Is that neccessary??
Just looking at the Oscar Awards and saw PG's friend Randy Newman got one. Congratulations!
