A photographer, born and bred on Peter Gabriel (my father insisted), he has inspired one of my most recent pieces of work. This image is about emotionally and physically shedding your skin, starting asfresh. At the time I created the image I felt the need to be stronger, and wanted to create something to represent me growing a thicker skin, quite literally. "I must go on standing, you can't break that which isn't yours."
