Not just the DVD, but it's looking like we'll even have a 3D bluray! These concerts deserves it, it's so good to know that even years from now, we'll be able to enjoy these, being as close as possible to what it was to actually being there. /me very happy! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

Idont think it will either. All of you that attended that gig have said how fantastic it was but Peter has said that he wasnt in the best of health for that gig.He said"i think we just about got through it"so now im thinking, has he watched it back and isnt happy with it?hence we now hear him saying they want to film at hammersmith to get some documentation of the newblood tour before it fizzles out.Peter Gabriel doesnt do fizzling out!i think it will be going out with an almighty BANG!!

Good sum up there Chawin! Peter is a perfectionist, might be why P.O.V is taking so long.probably lots of restoration.

I am the only one that have never said "Peter sang badly" . . . .Verona was really a magic night, and Peter was really w-o-n-d-e-r-f-u-l,sincere and spontaneous,i am sorry that that incredible atmosphere will not be release. . . .i don not say this because i am italian, but because there are many things: the location (the Arena),the audience,Peter that was so lovely, sweet and with a fantastic voice,he sang with great pathos, the wonderful and perfect New Blood Orchestra. . .what else?? it's impossible to describe. . . . . .yeah. . he is a perfectionist, and we all love him also for this. . .so the only thing that i can do is to bring with me forever that magic night in my heart,in my soul,in my poor brain,in all my cell of my body. . . !!!!!!!!!!

(sorry for my french, my english is too bad) pourquoi pas les 2? car un dvd en 3D eput-il être regardé en 2D?
Reminic 26 January 2011 at 6:53pm Posts: 133 (0 today) Status: offline
(Fullorange2001's question in english Why not both? Because a 3D DVD, can it be seen in 2D? From what I know, 3D DVDs requires colored glasses, which isn't a very stellar solution (which I believe is why Avatar's 3D bluray is only sold with 3D TVs for now, because it's not a pleasant experience with colored glasses - I tried!). That's why I'm more hoping for a 3D bluray. In the ones I've see so far, you can select in the menu to see it in 2D or in 3D. Well, that's just my 2 cents.

The first filming was a failiture because of Gabriels voice, thats why its likely not getting released. A modern 3D camera can create 2D video, don't worry.

Maybe you are all wet on this one Or Maybe you have something I love to be loved I know that if I had a bad day I would not want to put it out there for everyone to criticize Let alone try to make some money to pay the helpers And the next helpers Too bad there were no recording devices for NYC 2 I grieve Pete, Mr Gabriel, was kickin vocally And Lou Reed What a great idea to get a scratcher in a show Boom Boom Boom Special Good At least in my secret world

Um,.,.,.what?

Sorry I didnt think it possible to abandon the Verona production But then on second thought I can see how that might be possible if Gabriels voice was not acceptable In addtition to expressing his art, Peter is running a business And that business must pay all of the people that help put the current and future productions together If its not good enough to reflect the best of the tour Then I can see how it could be considered a failure Also I was able to travel to the second New York City show in May Lou Reed played Solsbury Hill really loud Especially the Boom Boom Boom part Some people may not have thought it sounded that good I thought it was cool I also thought it was a great idea to have one of the covered artist from Scratch my Back at a tour show I worked Love to be loved I Greive and Secret World into my post in reference to the Twitter question

Think Anti-3D thoughts Peter! "Why 3D doesn't work and never will" http://blogs.suntimes.com/ebert/2011/01/post_4.html Pro-music! Pro-video! But Anti-3D. =

"I am the only one that have never said "Peter sang badly" I believe you. But unfortunately it seems that PG doesn't. =

Peter`s vocal performance from Verona of "Wallflower" was EXCELLENT. When I find the time I will search for some fan-clips on youtube from this concert to judge about Peter`s vocals. I repeat myself: "Wallflower" was sung brilliant in Verona !
