I think the problem is a union one. Using a massive orchestra like this, they get paid an extra fee for any recorded performances, CD and DVD. I had read something to this affect on the tours thread that there will be no DVD but possibly a studio album of the second half of the NB show which features orchestral versions of PG's older material. I for one think this is a great loss, as the work put in to New Blood is just incredible and should sit on the pantheon along with Secret World, Growing UP, and of course the elusive yet wonderful POV

Count me in, too.
However, I guess we'll have to rely on audience footage made at the shows, specially because the tour is over from now and, there is no info about another leg of it, only rumours, unfortunately.
Who knows if another leg is added just for filming (quite like Roger Waters did with London additional gigs in the end of The Wall tour 1981)?

It seems to be confirmed by the last Tour Diary entry that there has been no live documentation of the New Blood Shows, but that a Studio version of the second half is in the works. A shame really, I'd rather Peter got all of this out of his system and went ahead with some more original material. Not that I don't love SMB and the tour, but I'm looking forward to some new stuff and a fully fledged tour.

Ido find it strange though after all the regrets and frustrations having never had a lamb show filmed.I think Peter and the rest of genesis regret that it was never filmed as much,if not more so than the fans.I still think one of the rumoured shows in september will be filmed.
