I LOVE Peter Gabriel-documentaries !
DolceVita27 May 2009 at 8:17pmPosts: 2323 (0 today)Status: offline
It is very nice Cimber for you and for all who understands everything of the interview of Gabriel, for me it's difficult to understand everything, sometimes there is translation!
I think we can try to understand and feel his message trought the thing that he best express: the Music! . . . and with his videos with our eyes

. . .Peter Gabriel - Mundo Secret
Of course the native English speakers understand more than us, when it comes to lyrics, but that really does not make a big difference.
In Peter`s Secret World there is only one language and that is the "Peter Gabriel-language" - his music, his voice, his visual performances and all the emotions in each song, that reaches every fan and listener.

Cimber, I subscribe every your words!! You are absolutely wright!!!
P.s. In the fantastic concert of "Secret World" Peter talks italian,he speaks a very good language!
I think he is really really fantastic because he approached people when speaking the language of the country where he is!! Fantastic!!!Wonderful!!Magic Peter!!
But,I agree with you,Cimber: the most importan language is only His Music, that join us!
U.W.M.G.! (United World Music Gabriel) !

I once read somewhere this here:
"United Colors of Peter Gabriel"
On one of the links Peter talks about the "Real World Recording Week" - I think he also mentions "Lulu`s Cafe" and talks about musicians comming together at Real World Studios in Box -
. . .the album "Big Blue Ball" is one result - I call it the "final episode" of all these recordings from the "Real World Recording Weeks" (1991, 1992 , 1995).
More "Big Blue Ball"-like sound and music can be found on the "Real World-site" - there on catalogue>>>>>>>>>>
- Albums featuring Various Artists:
- "Jam Nation"
- "Arcane - Assorted Artists"
- "A Week or Two in the Realworld"
- "A Week in the Realworld - Part I"
Still MISSING - the song "Taste of Lime" . . . . .

Thank you for these clips although I still could not see all of them. This morning I needed to hear a bit of PG´s music. It is very emotionally and at the same time very honest and close to the real life. What a rare combination!
