Do you know if there are any plans for Peter Gabriel to re-release Secret World Live on Blu Ray with updated audio? This is perhaps one of the best live music DVDs of all time and I would love to see it in this new format.

After seeing "Growing Up Live" in HD on cable, I second the motion regarding Peter's concert and music on Blu-ray. Actually, I'm kind of amazed that it would be Neil Young instead of Peter (or maybe Todd Rungren) spearheading the use of Blu-ray for it's lossless audio capability.

am astounded as to how big a fan I am of Growing Up Live as not only are the performances superb but the sound quality using DTS is unmatched. The only thing that could beat this is the concert on Blu-ray using DTS-HD Master Audio. I can't wait. I hop you are reading this Peter

I would like to add my voice to this plea. Peter's work in high definition and with lossless audio would be a great great pleasure and would be one of my wishes come true. Please?

Growing Up (and Still GU) need to be released on Blu-Ray ASAP!! (as well as Genesis When In Rome and Phil Collins Finally The First Farewell Tour)

I have to say I am also amazed that PG has not embraced this new and far superior technology. I am also surprised at the other concerts shot in HD, but not released on Bluray. Duran Duran: Live In London; Blur: No Distance Left To Run; Genesis: When In Rome; Phil Collins: Finally. The First Farewell Tour just to name a few. I read somewhere that the Genesis one was originally supposed to be released on bluray but they did not think there would be a market for it. Really?! But there is a market for Phil Collins: Going Back?

I agree. We are lucky that PG shot "Secret World live" on film rather than video-cameras. If the Master copy still exists, it could be re-scanned at a higher resolution. That would be perfect!! Please do this!!

Seeing as Secret World was shot on 16MM film, a 1080p port is very much possible, The original DVD release was horribly over compressed, and seeing as it's now out of print. A Blu-Ray copy is very likely. As for Growing Up, i am of course in favor of a Blu Ray release on that too. But let's not get too greedy.

I too wait in hope. Saw a track from Growing Up on a HD demo in an appliance shop a couple of years ago. my eyeballs almost fell out. It looked so much better. Looked through the Blu Ray titles in store this afternoon. PG is a big gap.

Ah, found the track. On trusty Youtube at 1080 HD. Looks amazing. I want more. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GimLuOUVkxg
