I'm trying to find out more about the music from Sea Monsters. I know the score was written by David Rhodes and Ricard Evans. I know that Peter Gabriel collaborated with them on one of the tracks and that he acted as Executive Producer on the score. What I don't know is what the song was that Peter collaborated with them on and where can I get the soundtrack.

Lets say the last song, if you have seen the film, you'd know.
Soundtrack, no idea yet. . .

Peter Gabriel co-wrote the theme song for the film, "Different Stories, Different Lives" with David Rhodes. PG sings it with Angie Pollock (she toured with them last summer, playing keyboards). He also added a bit of vocal to one or two other tracks - no lyrics, just melodic vocalization.
The rest of the soundtrack was written by "The Footnote" - Richard Evans and David Rhodes.
There was talk of a soundtrack release, but National Geographic opted not to do it. There was only a promo soundtrack CD which was never offered for sale. However, the DVD is now available, which is one way to get to hear the music.
Funny this should come up now, because just this week, www.davidrhodes.org was given clearance to post two pieces from the soundtrack for those who haven't been able to hear it. We'll be making them available on December 1. Check the "News" page of the website starting tomorrow, or make sure not to miss any updates by signing up for our mailing list by sending an email to webmaster@davidrhodes.org.

. . .I want the "Sea Monsters"-soundtrack to be released on Real World Records !
There have been some estimated 160 album-releases on Real World Records so far since "Passion" in 1989.
Soundtracks on Real World Records:
-"The Mahabarata" (a film by Peter Brook)
-"I could read the Sky" (Iarla O`Lionaird)
-"Birdy" (a film by Alan Parker)
-"Passion" (music for the Last Temptation of Christ)
-"Long Walk Home" (gabriel)
-"Long Way Down (music from the TV-series)
. . ."Different Stories, Different Lives" is a fantastic song.
Yep - an official release of the "Passion Outtakes" would also be a NICE idea !
