Brilliant opening Olympic ceremonies last night . . . But as laure and I watched, we couldn't help but notice some familiar elements: Starting the show with men drumming and dancing Writhing on floor artistically to beautiful music An illuminated globe, with running involved (around, not inside) Running a circular track whilst hanging upside down/sideways from rigging A huge scrim used to amazing artistic effect I'm just saying . . .

Stacie, Fancy finding you here! I watched most of the ceremonies. The Parade of Nations got to be a little rough for a man with the remote control in his hand, but the opening and the closing were awesome. Was hoping Peter might have popped out of that Zorb with members of the Real World Asian Team. Peace. James
